Fighting this inner war has separated me from many Wars are viscous and life changing They take from us the things we love the most Forcing us to rebuild Who is with us at the end , no one but God knows
The Sun
I am reaching towards the sun now It’s beginning to warm my soul once again Every so slightly I feel my myself coming back to life If I keep eyes up maybe the dark clouds won’t come back to haunt me
Keeping It In
I swallow the words whole Just so you won’t know The battles that wage inside my head The voices that scream at me to give up Fine , good , ok those words flow so easily from my mouth Instead I keep all the scary things locked away Silently dying inside
